DOS - Diagnostics in DOS/Windows 3.1 
The Diagnostics program tests the FM synth and audio portion of the card: 

1) Switch to the Malibu directory at a DOS prompt and run "cwdiag.exe".

2) The resources will be listed and tested. You'll see the following 
   sections:

     Sound Blaster(tm)
       Base Address 
       Interrupt 
       DMA  
     
     MPU 401
       Base Address 
       Interrupt 
     
     Windows Sound System(tm)
       Base Address 
       Interrupt 
       Play DMA 
       Record DMA 
     
     FM/OPL3
       Base Address 
     
     [Test 8-bit Sound]  [Test FM Music] [Exit]

3) Clicking the Sound button will play a .wav file and 
   clicking the Music button will play a MIDI file.
