Win 95 Installation
Native Win 95 drivers for the Maui sound card are available on our FTP.

File name : MAUI95.ZIP
File size : 500k

Unzip the MAUI.ZIP files to a blank floppy disk. On this disk, there will now
be a README file. You will want to print this file out before installing the
drivers. Install the drivers according to the information in that text
document. Here is the step-by-step for your convenience:

This driver installs via the non PnP Windows 95 method using the Windows
"Add New Hardware" Wizard:

1) Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel
2) Select 'Add New Hardware'
3) Click Next
4) Do not let Windows search as it will not find a Non PnP card
5) Select:'No I want to select the hardware from a list'
6) From Hardware types select 'Sound Video, Game controllers'
7) Select: 'Have Disk'
8) Point the Browser to the location where you have extracted the "MAUI95.ZIP"
9) Windows should find the .INF file for the information it needs
10) Follow the on screen instructions.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Before you contact Tech Support, please take a moment to check the
following...

1) Are all the old drivers uninstalled? Check your SYSTEM.INI file and make
sure that any references to the sound card are gone. These new drivers
store all information in the Registry instead. Any references to the
following files may be safely REMmed out :

        MAUI.DRV

To REM out a line in the SYSTEM.INI file, simply place a semi-colon and
space in front of the line.

This line is NOT REMmed out
        midi=maui.drv

    This line IS REMmed out
        ; MIDI1=MAUI.DRV

2) Please note that some newer PCs do not allow use of Interrupt 9 which is
the default Windows preference for a MIDI card. If this is the case, you
would need to assign a different Interrupt to the Maui.
