The Turtle Beach Monte Carlo series were low priced, non-Plug 'n Play,
Sound Blaster compatible ISA sound cards, meant for basic multimedia PC use.
The Monte Carlo line went out of production in 1995.

Monte Carlo cards were offered as stand-alone products, as part of the
Turtle Beach CD-ROM Multimedia Kits, and as Original Equipment Manufacturer
products pre-installed in several companies' high-end PCs running Windows 3.1.

Monte Carlo cards are not well suited for use in modern PCs running current
operating systems such as Windows 95/98, Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000.

If you have a Monte Carlo, it is recommended that you upgrade to a current
design, Plug 'n Play, PCI sound card such as the Turtle Beach Montego II.
