The Monte Carlo is Turtle Beach's entry-level game-card. It includes 16-bit
digital audio, and V-Synth, software driven wavetable synthesis.
Two versions of the card exist- the Monte Carlo 928 and the Monte Carlo 929.
The 928 has CD-ROM controllers for Sony, Panasonic, and Mitsumi CD-ROMs,
while the 929 has an additional EIDE connector.
Another difference between the cards is in the internal audio connectors.
The 928 has a Sony connector and a combination Mitsumi/Panasonic connector,
while the 929 has separate Mitsumi and Panasonic connectors. The pinouts
for these connectors can be found in this section.
Finally, the number on the OPTI chip will confirm what card it is.
The 928 is numbered 82c928a and the 929 is numbered 82c929a.
