MMX - Does the Montego A3DXstream require a CPU with MMX support ? 
No.  

The Montego drivers version 1C or later allow the Montego to work on any CPU
that is 

  * Intel Pentium or equivalent
  * 100 MHz or faster
  * 16 MB of RAM 

Note: For full A3D sound, a Pentium or equivalent processor running at 
  200 MHz or faster is required.
