A3D Drivers - what are they for 
Montego II drivers are divided into two parts: 

- Chipset driver:
  This is the basic driver that is needed to get your sound card up and 
  running within the operating system. This driver provides the majority of
  the sound card's functionality: Wave & MIDI playback, analog recording,
  DirectSound & 3D support, etc. 

- A3D Software level driver:
  The A3D Driver provides A3D and HRTF functionality for applications that use
  the A3D technology.
