If you use AudioView32 to record and your new audio file sounds noisy after 
you've saved it and reloaded it to play, here's why:

Press the record button. The Sound Selection window appears.

    

In the example above, The Attributes for the file you are about to record 
are set to 44.1kHz, 16 Bit, Stereo – 172KB/s.  This is the correct setting 
for CD Quality sound.  Sometimes, the default setting reverts to another
set of attributes that Windows does not support.  
That setting is 44kHz, 16 Bit, Stereo.  

    

If you record and save an audio file with these settings in the Attributes,
the resulting recording will be very noisy with static when you play it back.
This is because this particular set of attributes is not supported by 
the operating system.  
If this occurs, you need to re-record your audio at the correct sampling rate.


HOW TO SET ATTRIBUTES TO 44.1kHz 16-BIT STEREO:

When you press the record button and the Sound Selection window appears, 
in the Name section of the window choose CD Quality.

    

This changes the sampling rate to 44.1kHz, 16 Bit, Stereo, which 
will record and play back cleanly, in full "CD Quality".
