Daughterboard - no sound 
1) Double click on the mixer icon (yellow speaker) in the System Tray. 
2) Select Options | Properties | Playback. 
3) In the "Show the following volume controls:" box, make that sure that the 
   "MPU-401" is checked. 
4) Click the OK button. You will now see a new module on the mixer for the 
   MPU-401. 
5) Remove the check from the Mute checkbox and adjust the slider to the
   desired volume.
