Although Windows NT 4.0 does not support "Quad Speaker" mode or A3D, the rear
speakers of the Montego II Home Studio and the Montego II Plus do function as
a duplicate of the main stereo pair of line outputs in Windows NT.

The S/PDIF OUT (Rear Speakers) is the volume control for both the S/PDIF out
and the rear speaker output.  This fader can be found in the Windows Volume
Control. 

      

NOTE. Muting the SPDIF Out, only mutes the S/PDIF, not the rear speakers.  
      Wave, Internal MIDI (Not Wavetable Header), and CD are the only inputs 
      that can be sent to the front and rear speakers.
