Dolby or DTS decoding 
Q:  Does this card do Hardware Dolby or DTS digital decoding 
    at the Hardware or Software driver level? 

A:  Dolby or DTS decoding is handled by the DVD software program when using
    the analog outs. It is handled by your hardware decoder in speakers / 
    receiver when using the digital output.
