Q:  If I connect the Optical Output to my A/V receiver, and the Headphone
    line-out to a set of regular PC speakers, will both operate? I don't need 
    them to operate at the same time, since most of the time, I just need the 
    PC speakers on, but when I want to listen to MP3s through the optical
    output and I turn on the receiver, will it be cut-off because I have the 
    PC speakers plugged in?

A:  You can have both the digital and analog outputs connected to different
    devices at the same time. You would choose which one you want to use in
    the Audio Rack. They will not both be active at the same time.
