Daughterboard - No MIDI volume 
1) Make sure that the jumpers J5 and J6 are off.  With the component side of 
   the Tahiti sound card facing you and the card edge down, the jumpers are 
   located about 1 1/2" to the left of the Line In jack. 

2) Also, check what MIDI device your system is set to use.  In Windows 3.1, 
   this is found in Main | Control Panel | MIDI Mapper.  In Windows 95, 
   check Start | Settings | Control Panel | Multimedia | MIDI 
   to insure that the daughterboard is selected.  

3) Finally, check that the mixer settings for the daughterboard are up and 
   mot muted.
