Cleanup.bat/pif - Urgent Notes
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Cleanup utility should be run ONLY in safe mode.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

To run "cleanup.pif", the computer must have sufficient environment space.

In most cases, this won't be an issue. However, some systems do not have
sufficient environment space to run the "cleanup.pif" file properly.

If you ever see a "out of environment space" error while running
"cleanup.pif", EXIT THE PROGRAM IMMEDIATELY. Do not continue. Instead,
follow the directions below to increase the environment space for the
"cleanup.pif" file and then run it again:

1. Find the "cleanup.pif" file in the driver installation folder.

2. Right-click on the file (the one with the MS-DOS icon by it). A menu
will be displayed with options such as Open, Send To, Cut, Properties.

3. Click on "Properties" to bring up the Cleanup Properties window.

4. Click the tab labeled "Memory".

5. Set "Initial Environment" to 1024 or higher, and click [Apply].

6. Run "cleanup.pif".

7. If you see the error again, repeat the above steps with a higher
environment setting, until the error goes away.
