Daughter Synth - how do I record it as a digital signal INTERNALLY?
The daughter board synth cannot be recorded in the digital realm (internally).

Daughter synths can only be recorded as WAV through analog means EXTERNALLY
(loop-back cabling). This is because a daughter synth (on any card) is
always analog, and therefore its signal does not get processed through the
digital section of the DSP that handles S/PDIF.

Loop-back cabling:
1) Obtain a stereo 1/8 to 1/8 cable.
2) Connect one end to the Line Out.
3) The other end to the Line In.

WARNING: You need to be EXTREMELY careful of feedback loops. Make sure that
all the audio outs except for the daughter board synth are muted and that
the advanced properties of the Input Monitor are not set to Record Monitor.
If you do not disable Record Monitor, unpredictable things may happen
including overloading and frying of the Line In circuitry, which of course
is not covered by any Warranty.

Note: The "daughter board synth" refers to the HOMAC daughter card that is
contained in the Pinnacle Project Studio package but not in the Pinnacle
package. It is available as an optional upgrade to the Pinnacle owners
through VTB for a limited time only.
