ANR-20 - FAQ 
Q:  Is the noise cancelling adjustable? Is this separate from the volume 
    control?  Does the volume control raise and lower only the audio from 
    the MP3, etc. music source?

A:  The Noise Reduction is "infinitely adjustable" by a rotary potentiometer
    (thumbwheel type). The volume is not adjustable.
