iPod Compatibility: (NC Earbuds)
Q: Will the plug fit into an iPod or will it be neccsary to purchase
an adapter?
A: Our Noise Canceling Earbuds already have an 1/8" stereo plug, which is
what the iPod also uses, so there is no need to purchase additional
adapters.

Battery: (NC Earbuds)
Q: I just wanted to verify if the battery is used to supply power to the
noise cancellation headphones. Where is the battery inserted, somewhere
inside the on/off/volume case? How long does the single battery last
until it need to be replaced (in hours of operation).
A: The battery is needed to power the noise canceling circuitry and gets
inserted in the on/off/volume case. The headphones will still work without
a battery like normal headphones without any noise cancellation (must be
in the OFF position).
Battery life expectancy is about 30-40 hours (depending on the battery
type & quality) of continuous use.

Poor Design? (NC Earbuds)
Q: I much prefer earbud headphones to the others but these earbuds:
- don't stay in my ears as well as most
- they have an exceptionally long and clumsy lead-in stem
A: - Our ear buds are slightly larger than normal because they have a larger
diaphragm to provide deeper bass. As known, Bass Frequencies are the
hardest to reproduce, especially on a small scale such as ear buds.
Smaller surface area ear buds suffer on the low end because of the
smaller area to reproduce the lower frequency signals.
- The stem is longer to provide room for the embedded microphone used
in noise cancellation.

Comfort Level / Human Anatomy: (NC Earbuds)
Q: When I turn them around, putting the flat end of the bud against the
inside of the ear lobe, they can barely stay in it all, whereas most
earbud headphones will stay in like that, though not as well as when
turned around the other way... yet it is in that position, with the flat
side of the earbud against the inside of the ear lobe, that the noise
cancellation really does work.
A: The problem with any ear buds in general, is that the human ear anatomy
varies widely from person to person, so it is impossible to make one set
of ear buds that fit comfortably in any ear. For example, these buds fit
comfortably in my ears and the NC works fine. But this may not be the case
with other Customers, whose ear anatomy is different. This is also the
reason why the NC may not seem to work with some people, because the buds
don't sit properly in their ear.

Use different buds: (NC Earbuds)
Q: I wish that the noise cancellation section terminated in a stereo
minijack, which would allow me to plug in other ear buds. I'm tempted
to try to modify this set, cutting off the buds it came with, and trying
to graft other ones on with solder and electrical tape....
A: If you were to replace the buds with another model, they wouldn't have
the integrated mic, so they wouldn't provide noise cancellation.

Q: I can't tell from the picture on the website if the plug is gold-plated
or not.
A: The plug is gold plated.

(NC Earbuds)
Q: I am planning a long trip on my Harley and will be using a full face
helmet. Will I benefit from a set of Noise Canceling Headphones/ear buds
and if so how much?
A: The way that these headphones work is that each ear bud contains a
microphone that is out of phase with the other. This takes any background
noise and cancels it. The benefit of noise canceling headphones is that
they allow you to listen to your music in a less than ideal audio
environment. Will they cancel out the sound of a Harley? Probably not
completely, but they will drop the background noise so that you can listen
to your music while you are riding.
