MacOS support for the AK-R8 
Q:  I am interested in purchasing the AK-R8 headphones but I currently use a
    MacPro. While I understand the software is intended for Windows, will the
    headphones work without the software on a Mac?

A:  The AK-R8 Headphones are not compatible in the MacOS, because the
    Headphones in this package are powered by the SRM Sound Device, which is 
    not supported in the MacOS. 

    The "EarForce HPA2" Headphones however, should work, because they are
    connected through the in-line multi-channel Amplifier as opposed to 
    the AA SRM device.

The EarForce HPA2 requirements are:
A computer (PC or Mac) with at least 6-channel (5.1) audio out capability.
