Q: I was curious if your wireless headphones/headsets will work on both
gaming consoles and a Personal Computer (Windows-based). I am currently
looking for a wireless headset to use online with my PC, but the vast
majority of PC headphones are wired.
A: Although our wireless Headphones were designed for the Xbox, they can
be used as 2-Channel Stereo Headphones with a computer using an optional
1/8" to 1/8" cable. However, please note that the microphone will not
function with a PC.

Q: Can multiple sets be used with multiple Xbox sets in pairs in the same
room?
A: I am afraid not. Headphone set #3 would not know to receive or send sound
only to/from set #4. This could only be achieved with WIRED connections
not wireless.

Q: I would like to play with a friend, using earphones. Can I use one
transponder for two receiving earphones, or does every earphone need their
own transponder?
A: There are limitations with such a setup. While you can use two Headphones
with one Transmitter you'll hear the same material on both. The same holds
true for the mic and chat.

Q: I am wondering can I use the X2 as a microphone and chatting headset
while still having the sound effects of the games come from my TV and
surround sound as usual.
A: Yes, you can use the X2 as a mic & chatting headset while your have
sound effects of the games come from your TV Surround Sound. Here is how:
The X2 package also contains two splitter Cables that double the Left &
Right RCA jacks so that you have both connected at the same time, without
having to unplug and re-plug everytime you need to switch from one to the
other.

Q: Does the X2 have a volume control?
A: Yes, it does have a Volune Control on the Headset.
******************************
Q: How is it powered?
A: The X-2 Base is powered via a "DC Power Adapter"

Halo 2: In Lobby: They can hear us but we cannot hear them:
Q: In Halo 2 it works just fine during the game but in the pre game lobby
they can hear us but we can't hear them. Are they defective?
A: If they work fine in the game, there is nothing wrong with them. Something
is probably not set up correctly, either in the xBox or in the Game Setup.

Q: It says it is wireless, but I have to connect a wire from the earphones
to the XBox controller if I want to talk to someone. Is there a way to
talk to someone without attaching the wire to the controller? If not, it
is not wireless!
A: The X2 uses the Xbox Live Chat feature, which requires a small wire from
the earphones/mic to the Xbox 360 Controller. The audio playback from the
Xbox 360 is sent by stereo interconnect cable to the X2 Base Unit, which
is a wireless transmitter. The audio is sent wireless to the X2 stereo
headset, which is a receiver. That's the wireless part.
The X2 can be thought of as an expanded version of the Xbox headset, with
the game soundtrack playing in a pair of wireless headphones instead of on
your sound system's speakers. The Chat mic uses the exact same technology
as the 'stock' headset supplied with the Xbox 360.

Tivo?
Q: Can the Ear Force X2 headphones be used to listen to Tivo recorded shows
on television.... without being connected to the XBox? I am looking for
wireless headphones to watch movies at night while not disturbing my wife.
A: The Ear Force X2 may be used with any device that offers analog RCA
Input connections.

Multiple Xboxes:
Q: Will the X2 recognize their own signal from the transmitter if they are
sitting in a group of 40-50 XBox360s?
A: No, whichever headsets are in line of sight with a transmitter will
receive that transmitter's signal. If you have 5 headsets all in front
of one transmitter, they will all play the signal from the one
transmitter.
The transmission from the base unit is localized to the front, within line
of sight to the red LEDs on the front of the base unit/transmitter. If you
have a headset on and you are behind the transmitter, you will not receive
the transmitted signal. So two players could face each other and receive
different signals from two different transmitters that face away from
each other.
******************************
Q: Can I manually change frequencies?
A: No, that is not user-adjustable.
******************************
Q: Can rechargeable batteries be used instead of 'regular' batteries?
A: Rechargeable batteries may be used instead of 'regular' batteries.
