xBox 360 and multiple headphones
Q: If 10 xbox 360's were being played at once in a large room, the sound
created by four users on each system would be maddening. How many Ear
Force x1's, x2's, and x3's can be hooked up to a single xbox 360? Can 16
x3's function simultaneously in the same room if 4 xbox 360's were linked
together system link? Could they function if 16 xbox 360's were linked
together simultaneously?
A: What you wish to achieve is pretty complicated. You cannot use any of
the wireless Headphones (X-2, X-3) because due to the nature of wireless
technology they will interfere with each other. You should be able to use
the Wired X-1. However, since the Xbox has only 3 USB ports, you would
need a USB Hub to increase the USB Ports. Also, since the Xbox has only
one audio output, you would need one splitter for each X-1.
