Q:  Can I use a X3 earphone talk back cable on a X2 or X1 earphone set? 
    If not, is there an adapter available?

A:  The "talkback" (Xbox Controller Cables) are not interchangeable and there
    is no adapter for this. However, only the "Ear Force X3" and "Ear Force
    X4" use the same Puck and they are interchangeable.
