1) Run "Setup.exe" from the driver floppy disk or from the extracted ZIP file
you downloaded from the web. This will install the Mixer and some other
files that the Applications CD is looking for.
2) Make sure that the IRQ assigned to the Kurzweil Synth is available.
Windows does not always show a conflict and this may be misleading.
In some newer motherboards IRQ 9 is not available.
Trying a different IRQ usually corrects the problem.

"Install Tricks (Troubleshooting Bible)".
"IRQ 9 causes ISA sound card not to work".
3) You will also receive this error message if the Pinnacle is removed from
the system, and you attempt to launch the Digital Orchestrator program.
The program expects to "see" the Pinnacle in order to launch, and will not
work with a card other than the Pinnacle.
NOTE: This applies to the Digital Orchestrator bundled with the Pinnacle.
If you have the stand-alone version of Digital Orchestrator,
you will not receive this error, as that version does not look
for the Pinnacle and works with any sound card.)
If you continue to have problems you may need to delete the "DOP.ini"
file, or reinstall DOP after installation of the drivers.
NOTE: If you have added instrument definitions or have made other
customizations to your "DOP.ini" file, it is STRONGLY recommended
that you make a backup copy of it before deleting it.
