Daughter Synth - How do I record it as a digital signal INTERNALLY? 
The daughter board synth cannot be recorded digitally. 

Daughter synths can only be recorded as WAV through analog means EXTERNALLY
(loop-back cabling).  This is because a daughter synth (on any card) is 
always analog, and therefore its signal does not get processed through the
digital section of the DSP that handles S/PDIF.

Loop-back cabling:
1) Obtain a stereo 1/8 to 1/8 cable.
2) Connect one end to the Line Out.
3) The other end to the Line In.
