Windows 2000 is a Business Operating System not designed for consumer use.
Moreover unlike Win NT, Win 2000 is based on a new Driver Modeling
architecture.
While most of our legacy Software and Hardware will work in this Operating
System, support for these products is limited to the known workarounds posted
on our website.

If you wish to experiment with Win 2000 using a Pinnacle, here are
(strictly *unsupported*) instructions:
Although the Pinnacle can be used in Plug n' Play mode in Win 9x using the
Win 9x drivers, the drivers that we will use to install in Win 2000 are the
Win NT 4.0 drivers and are not Plug n' Play compatible.
Therefore, before you start, you should perform a "hardware resource
inventory" and write down what resources are free for the Pinnacle
to use and change the J9 jumper accordingly.
If you had a working Win NT 4.0 configuration with the Pinnacle,
you may wish to duplicate those settings in Win 2000.
IMPORTANT!
If you are trying to install a Pinnacle in Win 2000, using the current
drivers, you must have a Digital I/O installed on the soundcard.
The Pinnacle will not function in Win 2000 without it!!! If you do not
have the Digital I/O board, you may use the driver version 3.02.
The filename is 'pin302.zip'.
NOTE: Although you have functionality of the soundcard, the Device Manager
will report: "No drivers are installed for this device".
You may ignore this.
