No MIDI daughterboard output (Win 3.1 & Win 95) 
1) Check that the jumpers "J5" and "J6" are off.  With the component side
   of the Tahiti sound card facing you and the card edge down, the jumpers 
   are located about 1 1/2" to the left of the Line In jack. 

2) Check what MIDI device your system is set to use, and insure that the 
   daughterboard is selected.  In Windows 3.1, this is found in 
   Main -> Control Panel -> MIDI Mapper.  In Windows 95, check 
   Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Multimedia -> MIDI. 

3) Check that the mixer settings for the daughterboard are up and not 
   muted.
