PC locks up when it loads the AdvanSys ASPI Mgr 
This indicates a possible IRQ, address or upper memory range conflict.  

1) Any device plugged into the motherboard could be using the same settings as
   the SCSI card.  Check the settings of all ISA, VLB, and PCI cards (internal
   modems, sound cards, network adapters, etc.) 

2) Keep in mind that the SCSI card needs to use a range of upper memory such
   as c800.  Make sure that this is not shadowed in your BIOS setup.
