1. Create a directory named "tropez" if one doesn't already exist. 

2. Copy the Windows 95 Tropez installation disk to that directory. 

3. Add the following to "autoexec.bat": 

     set sound16=c:\tropez
     c:\tropez\sndinit /b

   (This will initialize sndinit and set up the joystick.)

4. Install the Microsoft Joystick device. 
   a. Click Start -> Setup -> Control Panels. 
   b. Double-click on "Add New Hardware". 
   c. When Windows asks to search for new hardware, click "No". 
   d. Select the "Sound, Video and Game Controllers" category. 
   e. Select Microsoft as the Manufacturer and Joystick as the device.
