Mixer - SaveSettingsOnExit
Q: My mixer settings change every time I come back into Windows. How can I
   save them?

A: In the Windows directory is a file called TROPEZ.INI. Open up this file
(In Windows "Notepad" or in DOS EDIT.) Look for the line below and change
   the setting to "on."

SaveSettingsOnExit=on *Save the file and exit Windows.

Also, we have found that certain versions of Diamond Stealth Video Card
drivers conflict with the Tropez mixer. If you have a Diamond Stealth
card, open up the "In Control Tools" utility and make sure that none of
the audio settings in the mixer portion of the dialog box are set to
"mute". You can also consult your Diamond Stealth manual for information
on how to disable the "In Control Tools" program.
