The top one is a Sony connector - L G G R

The bottom one is a smaller white connector Panasonic - G R G L

On the cable, usually the red wire is for the right channel and the white wire 

is for the left.  The ground may be green or black.

Please check to see that the wires line up with the correct pins.

For example, if you are using the top connector, it would be like this:

white black [empty] red

or

white [empty] black red
