* Disable the MPU-401 driver
1) Open "Device Manager"
2) Open "Sound, Video, & Game Controllers"
3) Double-click on "MPU-401"
4) Click on the "General" tab
5) Uncheck "Original Configuration" box
(Note: the MPU-401 on the Tropez Plus is for the second MIDI port header
on the sound card itself. This is not the MIDI port/game port on the
back of the card)
or
* Change the IRQ for the Wavetable MIDI. Many PCI motherboards use IRQ 2
for bus mastering. This can cause a conflict with the MIDI In.
1) Open "Device Manager"
2) Open "Sound, Video & Game Contollers"
3) Double-click on "Tropez Plus Wavetable MIDI Synthesizer"
4) Click on the "Resources" tab
5) Uncheck "Use Automatic Settings"
6) Click on the "Basic Configuration" box to change it to "Basic
Configuration 001"
7) Click on "Resource Type IRQ"
8) Click the "Change" button and select a different IRQ for the device
