No MIDI In
If the Game Port is being used as a MIDI Interface, disable the MPU-401
driver: 

  1. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel. 
  2. Double-click System. 
  3. Click the "Device Manager" tab. 
  4. Double-click on "Sound, Video, & Game Controllers". 
  5. Double-click on "MPU-401". 
  6. Click on the "General" tab. 
  7. Uncheck the "Original Configuration" box. 

Many PCI motherboards use IRQ 2 for bus mastering.  This can cause a conflict
with the MIDI In.  Change the IRQ for Wavetable MIDI: 

  1. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel. 
  2. Double-click System. 
  3. Click the "Device Manager" tab. 
  4. Double-click on "Sound, Video, & Game Controllers". 
  5. Double-click on "Tropez Plus Wavetable MIDI Synthesizer". 
  6. Click on the "Resources" tab. 
  7. Uncheck "Use Automatic Settings". 
  8. Change the "Basic Configuration" box to "Basic Configuration 001".
  9. Select "Resource Type IRQ" by clicking on it. 
 10. Click [CHANGE]. 
 11. Select a different IRQ for the device.
