Rio
The Rio is a Turtle Beach add-on wavetable daughtercard. It can be added
to the Turtle Beach Tahiti to make up the Monterey, or can be mounted on any
card with a WaveBlaster-compatible connector.

NOTE: It has been reported that the Rio is not compatible with the
Montego series & the Santa Cruz cards.

Features:
        - 16-bit playback
        - ICS WaveFront synthesizer chipset
        - 4MB of *uncompressed* samples
        - No RAM (expandable to 4MB) for loading new samples
        - General MIDI compatible
        - DSP for effects algorithms including chorus and reverb

* The Rio uses the same synthesizer engine and samples as the Maui.
* Its samples are not compressed yielding higher quality sound.
* The Rio features an onboard DSP that provides reverb and chorus effects.
* The process of loading samples has to go through the Wavetable Header
of the Host card. Therefore, it is slower than on the Maui which goes
    directly into the ISA bus.
* Both the Rio and the Maui can use optional RAM on the board to load new
    samples.
