The Stealth 700 Gen 2 Xbox headset has Bluetooth capabilities, meaning that you can pair your headset with a Bluetooth-enabled device like a smartphone or mobile tablet. You can then use the headset with that device (via the wireless Bluetooth connection) to listen to music or make and take calls while you game.

PAIRING

Bluetooth.PNG

To use your headset with a Bluetooth device, you'll first need to pair the headset and device.

OUT OF THE BOX/ON FIRST USE: The headset will enter Bluetooth pairing mode when powered on; if no Bluetooth connection is made within two minutes, pairing mode will stop.

Once a Bluetooth pairing to a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone/mobile device has been made, the headset will not automatically enter the Bluetooth pairing mode when the headset is powered on (as there is already an active Bluetooth connection).

To pair the headset to a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone/mobile device, please do the following.

  1. Hold down the Bluetooth button on your headset until the "Bluetooth Pairing" prompt plays.
  2. Select the headset in your phone or tablet's Bluetooth settings. The headset and device will pair via Bluetooth.

CONTROLS

Once you have the headset and device paired via Bluetooth, you can use the Bluetooth Multi-Function button (which you used to pair the headset and device) to control your music and calls.

USING THE HEADSET VIA BLUETOOTH AND TRANSMITTER SIMULTANEOUSLY

The headset can be used via a wireless connection to the transmitter for game/chat audio and a Bluetooth connection to a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone for music/media simultaneously. If you’re using your wireless headset with a console or PC and a Bluetooth device simultaneously, and you enter a chat or call via that Bluetooth connection, the audio will adjust automatically.

When a Bluetooth call/chat starts:

  • Your outgoing mic audio (that other people hear) will be muted to the console, but not to the Bluetooth. When you speak into the mic, you will be heard only in that Bluetooth call. You will not be heard at all in the console/PC chat.
  • The Bluetooth (call/chat) audio will be prioritized over (and be louder than) the incoming console/PC audio. You will still hear that incoming console/PC audio, but at a lower volume than the Bluetooth audio, so that you can more easily hear the other person/people in the Bluetooth call.

When a Bluetooth call/chat ends:

  • Your outgoing mic audio to the console/PC will unmute. You will then be heard in the console/PC game/chat.
  • The incoming game/chat audio from the console/PC will return to its previous level.

PLEASE NOTE: This behavior/the headset’s handling of Bluetooth is as designed and cannot be adjusted.
