Stealth 600 for Xbox One - PC Compatibility

The Stealth 600 for Xbox One is designed to be used with any device that support Xbox Wireless.  This means that the Stealth 600 for Xbox One can be used with any of the following devices:

  • Xbox One
  • Xbox One S
  • XBox One X
  • Xbox Wireless Adapter (with Windows 10)
  • PCs with built-in Xbox Wireless

The process for using your Stealth 600 for Xbox One with the Xbox Wireless Adapter is very similar to that used with a Xbox One.

1. Power on your headset by holding down the Power Button until the Power LED lights up.

5. After a few seconds both LEDs should turn solid indicating that your headset and adapter are now paired

At this point your headset can be used with your PC like any other audio device.  To configure your settings:

  1. On the Windows taskbar, right-click the Speaker Icon
  2. Select Playback Devices
    • Set Turtle Beach Stealth 600 as your Default Device
  3. Select Recording Devices
    • Set Turtle Beach Stealth 600 as your Default Device

PC with Built-In Wireless

If your PC has built-in Xbox Wireless, use the following steps.

  1. On your PC, go to Settings >> Devices >> Connected Devices.
    1. Choose Add a Device. Windows searches for the headset.
  2. Power on your headset, and then hold down the Connect Button until the LED begins to blink rapidly.  Windows will find and add your headset.
  3. When your Stealth 600 for Xbox One headset appears in the list under “Other Devices”, it is ready to use.

Now that your headset is paired and set as your default device, you're ready to use your headset.

In order to control the volume of your audio, first turn down the lower Volume Control on your headset to the minimum value. Then, use the upper volume control to control the volume of the audio from your PC.

**Please note: These controls will not work on PC as they do on an Xbox One console; as a result you cannot control Game and Chat audio separately.**

To clarify: The headset is designed to connect via Xbox Wireless. There are some computers that have Xbox Wireless built in; an adapter would not be necessary for those computers. For computers without built-in Xbox Wireless, the Xbox Wireless Adapter (shown above) is necessary for PC use. That adapter is sold separately from the headset, and is not included with this headset.

There are a couple of specific computer models that have built-in Xbox Wireless, but they are very few in number. You’ll want to check to see if the computer you have is one of those specific models.

That Xbox Wireless Adapter is not a Turtle Beach product, and is not sold by Turtle Beach; you’ll need to purchase that adapter directly from Microsoft.

So I have the adapter and I love this thing, its amazing, but there is a small issue. Just for the game "Squad" there's a mic issue. No sound will come out at all from my mic. Is there firmware that'll make it more compatible? All the other wireless headsets I tried worked on "Squad". I've done about everything there is to do to try and make these work. I hope you guys can help somehow.

If this is happening only with a specific game, you may want to check the sound settings in the game to make sure the headset is selected in those settings as well as for the computer itself. If this issue persists you may want to contact our support team.
