The Stealth 420X Headset and Transmitter come paired out of the box. When paired, with both the headset and Transmitter powered on, the Transmitter's LED will be solid (lit, but not blinking).

However, if your Transmitter's LED is pulsing, follow the steps below to pair your Headset and Transmitter.

1. Start this process with the headset powered OFF. Press and hold the Pairing Button on the Transmitter until the Transmitter's Pairing LED flashes rapidly (2-3 seconds), then release. (Use a Paperclip or something similar to press the Pinhole button.)

Are these headphones compatible with Atmos for headphones on Xbox one?

Hi PingThing, the updated surround-sound options available on Xbox One will indeed work with our headsets. :D

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way that these headphones can connect to a phone or any bluetooth-enabled device.

    Hey Jakob.

The 420X does not use bluetooth in its wireless capacity, just normal RF.

You can connect to a mobile phone using an included mobile cable, but you cannot connect wirelessly via bluetooth.

Hi do you need to actually have the headset turned on when connected to your phone via the mobile cable? I have to turn it on to be able to hear my music but I'm not sure if you're suppose to have to.

    @ Joe

Yes, you would want the headset active for use.

    @ Alegandro

Any free USB connection can power your headset. So you can charge it from a PC if needed.

Hey, When i use the mobile connector, i have to turn the headset on, which is fine.  However it always looks for the wireless connection, which it cant find if im not at home, obviously! The headset will also automatically power down every few minutes, is there any way i can stop this?

    Cheers

    @ Barry

Refer to the complete user guide linked above for other specifics of your use.

When using the Stealth 420X away from your console (Mobile Connection Only) after 15 minutes you may hear a prompt indicating that you must press the Power Button in order to continue use. This is built in for battery conservation, just press the power button to continue listening to music without interruption.

I noticed the sound to be very flat while wireless on XB1. Once I plug into the controller it's instantly better. Like way better. Why is that? is there a setting I'm missing? I've been searching and haven't found anything. Even switched which USB port it's plugged into.

Is there a way to turn off the green lights when in use? When I don't use it with the bluetooth and I use my phone, I would rather not have flashing green lights while I'm listening.

    @TB Admin Nothing???

    @ Rui

Apologies. You say the sound changes from controller to wireless.

That may be the case, especially with the newer MS update to allow for better audio options through the controller. That would be otherwise a base stereo, which is good sound on its own.

By flat do you mean in regards bass? When using the normal function of the headset, you will have the various sound EQ options, so adjust those accordingly as well.

    @ Gannon

No, the lights on the headset are part of its main functions. They cannot be turned off.

I chatted with support and the super human hearing feature was pointed out to me. Much better with it off. It's use was explained to me. Sound is so much better now. Easily my favorite pair for xbox. Love having wireless.
