Stealth 500X - Pairing Instructions

The Stealth 500X headset sends and receives audio and chat via the transmitter. When the headset and transmitter are paired, the Power/Pairing LED on the transmitter will be solid. If the LED on the transmitter is blinking, then the headset has lost pairing with the transmitter.

The Stealth 500X headset and transmitter are factory paired. You will only need to perform the pairing process below if the headset has lost pairing to the transmitter. This may occur if the battery runs very low or if the headset is out of range of the transmitter for a long period of time.

Stealth 500X Pairing Instructions

1)  Power the headset off and disconnect the transmitter from the USB port on the console, then plug the transmitter back in. The Power/Pairing LED on the transmitter should be blinking slowly and the LED on the headset should be off.

2)  Press and hold the PAIR Button on the transmitter until the Power/Pairing LED begins to flash rapidly (twice per second), then release the button.

3)  Press and hold the Power Button on the headset until the Power LED on the headset is blinking rapidly like the transmitter, then release the button.

4)  Wait 15-30 seconds. The Power/Pairing LED on the transmitter should turn solid, and the Power LED on the headset should be blinking once per second.

Notes:

You will not hear any beeps through the headset when it is not paired with the transmitter.

If the pairing process was unsuccessful, disconnect the transmitter from the console and plug it back in, then reset the headset by holding the Mic Mute Button on the headset down for 10 seconds. Attempt the pairing process again.

Q. I paired my Stealth 500X but I still can't hear game audio. What's wrong?

A. If the Stealth 500X is paired but you cannot hear game audio through the headset, there may be an issue with the setup. Make sure the optical cable is firmly plugged in from the INslot on the back of the transmitter to the S/PDIF output on the back of the Xbox One. Check that the plastic caps have been removed from both ends of the cable.

To configure the sound settings, go to Settings > Display and Sound > Optical Audio and select 'Bitstream Out'. Then, select Bitstream Format > 'Dolby Digital'. You should now hear game audio through the Stealth 500X.
