Stealth 450 - Adjust Microphone Volume

In Windows, you can adjust the microphone volume in the Windows Sound Settings, which can be found by doing either of the following:

Right-clicking the speaker icon in the taskbar and selecting "Recording Devices".
Navigating to the Control Panel and selecting Hardware and Sound > Sound, then selecting the 'Recording' tab.

Once at this screen:

1. Depending on your model of headset, select 'Turtle Beach USB Headset', '[Headset] CHAT', or your PC's Line In/Microphone Input, then click the 'Properties' button.

2. When the 'Microphone Properties' window appears, click the 'Levels' tab. You will see two separate controls: 'Microphone' and 'Microphone Boost'.

3. Adjust the microphone volume to your liking.

Unfortunately I don't have "Microphone Boost" settings. I just installed new Windows 10 and drivers from this page and I don't see how to change my mic sensitivity which is too high,

You will have limited options for the mic sensitivity if boost is not adjustable. The headset side itself cannot be adjusted, so only via PC settings can anything be tuned further.

Yes, I know that I have to set it up on PC. But it's not Windows issue (on other microphone device I have Boost settings). It's the Turtle Beach drivers issue, they are responsible for that setting.

The headset side cannot be adjusted for mic sensitivy, it is not a matter of drivers on the headset end in that regard.

Any change would only be available on the windows end of some of its controls. That is what this article entails. You cannot adjust the sensitivity or volume of the microphone with the headset itself.
