This applies to the Stealth 500P model only.
If you do not hear voice prompts indicating that the Surround Sound Mode has changed when you hold the 'PRESET' button on the Stealth 500P headset, then the headset and transmitter may not be communicating properly. To resolve this, we advise pairing the Stealth 500P headset and transmitter again. This will resolve the issue even if the headset seems to be paired to the transmitter already (ie: you can hear game and chat audio from the console).
The following are pairing instructions for the Stealth 500P.
1. Connect the Transmitter to the a USB port on the console and power the headset OFF.
2. Press and hold the PAIR button on the transmitter for 5 seconds using a paperclip (or similar). The LED will begin to flash rapidly. Note: the PAIR button on the transmitter is recessed to prevent entering pairing mode accidentally.
3. Press and hold the Power Button on the right earcup of the headset until the Power LED flashes rapidly. A voice prompt through the headset will confirm that the headset has entered pairing mode.
4. Within 5-10 seconds, the LED on the transmitter will become solid and the Power LED on the headset will blink once per second. A voice prompt will confirm that the pairing process was successful.
The headset and transmitter will now be paired again and you should be able to switch Surround Sound modes when long pressing the PRESET button on the right earcup.
Note: The transmitter must be plugged in and powered on in order to change the Surround Sound modes on the headset. These modes will not be active when connecting the headset to a mobile device via the included Mobile Cable.
