In order to hear game audio through wireless headsets like the Phantom, the headset must be paired to its transmitter. The headset and transmitter are paired out of the box. The instructions below are only necessary if pairing appears to have been lost.
Step 1: Power the Headset OFF. (Hold the Headset's Power Button for 3 seconds to power it off.)
Step 2: Disconnect the transmitter from USB power for 3 seconds, then plug it back in. The transmitter's top most Power/Pairing LED should now be pulsing slowly.
Step 3: On the transmitter, press and hold the Power/Pairing button for 5 seconds, and release as soon as the transmitter's Power/Pairing LED begins flashing rapidly (twice per second), indicating that it's in pairing mode.
Step 4: With the headset still powered off, press and hold the Power Button. The headset will announce "Powering on" followed by "Pairing headset", then release the button. The headset and transmitter should now be blinking at the same quick rate as the transmitter (twice per second).
Step 5: Within 30 seconds, you should hear the headset announce 'Headset Paired'. The transmitter's Power/Pairing LED will remain on solid, and the headset's Power light will blink steadily once per second, indicating that pairing was successful.
The headset will now be paired to the transmitter and ready to play game audio.

Transmitter for Phantom:
Power/Pairing LED is pulsing slowly = Not paired
Power/Pairing LED is blinking quickly = Pairing mode
Power/Pairing LED is solid = Paired
- Make sure your headset is charged. When battery power is low, the headset will not pair properly.
- Make sure the headset and transmitter are 2 to 3 feet apart (about an arm's length) when pairing. If the headset and transmitter are too close, they will not pair properly.
