Sometimes the LED on the DSS2 may not illuminate. This may be perceived as if the Dolby Digital signal is not "active".
This problem only affects the LED display. The Dolby Digital is "active" in the headset despite the LED being switched off (visual misreporting). If the Dolby Digital was not active, there would be no Audio at all.
SOLUTION: To fix the problem, power cycle the DSS2 in the three following ways:
* Turn the power switch off and back on.
* Unplug the USB power cable and plug it back in.
* Unplug the S/PDIF cable and plug it back in.
