Tactical Audio Controller - Use TAC & Stream Mic Together on PC

The Tactical Audio Controller (TAC) can be used in parallel with the Stream Mic to achieve the best of Surround Sound Audio and Microphone performance for streaming.

  1. Connect the TAC to the PC using the included USB Mini Cable.
  2. Connect your preferred headset/headphones to the Tactical Audio Controller’s front left Headset Jack.
  3. Connect the Stream Mic to the PC using the included USB Mini Cable.
  4. Right-click the Speaker icon in the Taskbar, then click “Playback Devices”.
    1. Right-click “Turtle Beach ELITE GAME” and click “Set as Default Device”.
    2. Right-click “Turtle Beach ELITE GAME”, click “Configure”, and
      select 7.1 Surround Sound.
    3. Right-click “Turtle Beach ELITE CHAT”, and click “Set as Default Communication Device”.
    4. Click the Recording Tab, then right-click “Turtle Beach Stream Mic” and click “Set as Default Device”.

**Please note: To mute the microphone, you will need to use the MUTE button on the Stream Mic itself, not the MUTE button on the TAC.**
