Stealth 700 for PS4/PS4 Pro - Turtle Beach Audio Hub - Update Firmware and Customize Controls

It is important to always run the most up-to-date firmware in order to enjoy the best audio experience.

The Turtle Beach Audio Hub will automatically check for the newest firmware, and install the newest version if one is available.

The Turtle Beach Audio Hub is available for Windows and Mac.

  1. Connect your Stealth 700 for PlayStation 4 to your PC/Mac using the included USB Cable.
  2. Connect your Stealth 700 Wireless Transmitter to a free USB Port on your PC/Mac.
  3. Open the Turtle Beach Audio Hub app.

At this point if your headset requires a new update you will be prompted to begin this process.

**Note: This process may take a couple minutes. Do not disconnect your headset until the process is complete.**

Now you are able to adjust some of your Stealth 700 for PlayStation 4 settings.

Tones - This setting controls how loud the indication tones you hear in your headset play.  These are tones that play when toggling your EQ Presets, Superhuman Hearing, and when Powering On/Off. If this is set to the minimum you will not hear any indication tones.

Voice Prompts - This settings controls how loud the voice prompts that you hear in your headset play.  These prompts play when powering on the headset and using Bluetooth functions.

Audio Preset - Select a EQ Preset to enhance your listening experience.

  1. Signature Sound - Turtle Beach tuned Natural Sound; hear your media just as the creators intended.
  2. Bass Boost - Turn up the Bass; feel the deep sound effects in your games  and the punch of bass-heavy music tracks.
  3. Bass and Treble Boost - Turn everything up; increased lows and highs give you more of everything for a more powerful audio experience.
  4. Vocal Boost - Tune in to the vocals on music tracks and dialog in games and movies; make your characters and stories come alive.

DTS Headphone:X 7.1 Surround Sound Mode – Select a DTS Headphone:X mode that fits your need. (Game, Movie, Music, Stereo)

  1. Game Mode - Place yourself in the middle of the action and hear your games just as the developers intended.
  2. Movie Mode - Get the best seat in the house and experience your movies like never before.
  3. Music Mode - Bring your music onto a personal stage for your own private concert experience.
  4. DTS Headphone:X Off (Stereo Mode) - Down-mix all your Surround Channels into standard stereo playback.

Chat Boost -  Turn this On to have Chat Audio automatically increase in volume when loud game sounds occur. A Turtle Beach feature that’s hard to live without!

So I just got my stealth 700s delivered today. And I’ve been trying to use the Audio Hub app for then and it tells me I need to update my headset but when I go on to update it there isn’t one available. I just wanna try the hub app but I can’t because it’s telling me to make an update when there isn’t even an update to begin with

You have to update from your PC, not from the phone app that's telling there's an update. Download the software for Windows and then connect both the adapter and the headset to your PC.

I just bought my Stealth 700's last night and have been trying to update the firmware but it keeps going through the 5 attempts and saying, "there was an error while communicating with a USB device. Please disconnect/reconnect your Turtle Beach USB devices and try again."

Ive disconnected and reconnected multiple times but its not helping.

Just got the Stealth 700 now and have no way to upgrade the firmware without running to the store to find a USB Micro to USB C adapter for my MacBook Pro. Not cool.

Do you have both the headset and the transmitter connected to separate USB ports on your computer? You may want to contact our support team; they’ll be happy to assist you with this.

You should be able to use the USB cable that came with the headset to connect the headset to your computer in order to update the firmware.

Stealth 700 won't update, basically rendering it useless right out of the box. Attempts to load 5 times and then says "there was an error while communicating with a USB device. Please disconnect/reconnect your Turtle Beach USB devices and try again".

    Need help ASAP
