HEADSET CONTROLS

TRANSMITTER CONTROLS
- Digital Input LED
- Lit when a digital input signal is selected. When this LED is ON, the Transmitter's analog input is turned off.
- Surround Sound LED
- Lit when Surround Sound processing is toggled ON.
- Dolby Digital LED
- Lit when a Dolby Digital encoded signal is detected.
- Power/Link LED
- On Solid: Transmitter is paired to headset.
- Pulsing Slowly: Transmitter and headset are unpaired, or headset is out of range.
- Flashing Quickly: Pairing Mode

SETUP - HEADSET
XBOX 360 SLIM SETUP
** NOTE: Remove the protective plastic caps from both ends of the Digital Optical Cable before plugging it in.**

*NOTE: An Xbox Audio Adapter is required only if neither your Xbox 360 (older model) nor your HDTV have a S/PDIF or DIGITAL OPTICAL OUT jack.
PAIRING
In order to play audio, the X42 headset must be "paired" (linked) to its transmitter. The headset and transmitter are paired out of the box. The instructions below are only necessary if pairing appears to have been lost.
**NOTE: Maintain a distance of at least two feet between the headset and transmitter when pairing.**
- Headset should be powered OFF. (Hold Power button for 3 seconds.)
- Press and hold the Pair button on the transmitter for five seconds, until the transmitter's Power/Link LED flashes rapidly. Release.
- Press and hold the headset's Power button for 6 seconds until you hear the second double-beep, then release. The headset LED will flash rapidly (twice per second).
- Within 30 seconds, the transmitter Power/Link LED will remain on solid, and the headset Power light will blink steadily once per second, indicating that pairing was successful.
XBOX 360 CONFIGURATION
- Press the silver Xbox Guide button on your Xbox 360 controller.
- Go to Settings >> System Settings >> Console Settings >> Audio >> Digital Output.
- Set Digital Output to "Dolby Digital 5.1".
- Press the silver Xbox Guide button on your Xbox 360 controller. Go to Settings >> Preference >> Voice.
- Set Voice Volume to "10."
- Set Game Volume to "10".
- Set Voice Output to "Play Through Headset".

I plugged in my phone to the transmitter but I can't hear my music through my x42headset?
Hi Roman, the X42 transmitter can use either the digital connection or the analog connection, but not both at once. Maybe check to see if disconnecting the optical cable from the transmitter makes it work?
