Stealth 350VR - When To Use the Mic Boom

Some VR consoles/headsets such as the PSVR have their own built-in microphone. When the Stealth 350VR is connected to these consoles/headsets, the Turtle Beach mic will not be used; the VR console/headset’s microphone will be used instead. In these cases, the mic boom can be removed from the Turtle Beach headset.

The Stealth 350VR Mic Boom is not necessary with the PSVR headset:

The Stealth 350VR Mic Boom is recommended for the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive headsets, but you can use the built-in microphone on those VR headsets instead. The image below shows a Stealth 350VR setup with the mic boom:

The Stealth 350VR Mic Boom will need to be used with the Samsung Gear VR and any other Mobile VR headset that doesn't have a built-in microphone.

Note: The Stealth 350VR is also compatible with Xbox One, PS4, and PC/Mac systems that have a 3.5mm 4-pole headset jack. The 350VR microphone will need to be used in all of those circumstances.

It still doesn't work for normal PS4.
